Review: Candy Doodle for iPhone

{EAV_BLOG_VER:c9bfb2a60170d2e0}

Candy Doodle is a from the same makers (Shoe the Goose) as my first review, Cake Doodle. They are both very similar. You can make kettle corn, candy pizza, cotton candy, peanut brittle and much more! There are also lots of things to decorate it with like: whipped cream, sprinkles, letters and toppings. My favorite thing to make on this game is cotton candy. I like the fact that there is four different flavors: cherry, lime, lemon and blueberry. Candy Doodle is very fun to play because there are so many different combinations you can make. I like to make lime cotton candy with green sprinkles. Everything is green! Just like Cake Doodle, you can eat the candy by tapping on the screen. You can also email candy to your friends. I give this game 4 1/2 stars out of 5 stars. It’s great for ages 3 1/2 and up.

Review: Angry Birds Seasons for iPhone

Angry Birds Seasons by Rovio is a game where you shoot all kinds of birds on a slingshot to kill the pigs. I like Angry Birds Seasons better than the original one because it has different holidays: Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter. I’d say the Halloween one is the easiest. But it gets harder and harder with each level. My favorite is the Valentine one. It is called, “Hogs And Kisses”. It has lots of detail like flying hearts and the pigs are dressed like Cupid. The latest update for Spring 2011 is “Easter Eggs”. And the other seasons are called “Trick Or Treat”, “Season’s Greedings” and “Go Green, Get Lucky”. My favorite kind of bird is the black one in Halloween. He is one of the strongest birds. When you shoot him, he turns into a bomb and explodes on the pigs in the building. There are lots of other birds too. The yellow, blue, 2 red (one is fat and one is small), white, and green birds. There is a free version available if you want to try it first. It has only 3 levels per season and the paid version has a lot more levels to play!

Review: Fruit Ninja for iPhone

Fruit Ninja by Halfbrick Studios is a cool game where you get to slice all kinds of fruit like bananas, apples, limes, oranges, watermelon,  pineapples, strawberries, kiwis, mangoes, pears, lemon, and passion fruit. To slice them, you have to slide your finger across the iPhone. There are three kinds of modes. The first one is original. It is when there is bombs that you CAN NOT hit or else the game is over. Also if you drop the fruit three times the game is over too. The second one is zen mode. It is where there is no bombs, no lives and 90 seconds. And finally, the third one is arcade mode. It is when there is special kinds of bananas that give you futures like double points, frenzy, and frozen where the time freezes. When you get good at it, you get different kinds of blades,  and backgrounds. My favorite is the ice blade. I also like the great wave background.  But I still can’t get Mr.sparkle and old glory blades. This is my favorite game so far. Hope you like this game!

Here’s the YouTube video from Fruit Ninja. It’s really funny:

Review: Cake Doodle for iPhone

Cake Doodle by Shoe the Goose never gets boring cause you get to create a different cake each time! There are lots of flavors to choose from: chocolate, yellow, carrot, red velvet, lemon, banana, peanut butter, strawberry, apple, pumpkin, hummingbird, cinnamon, cherry, cheese, or instant. Then you have to put the ingredients in the bowl.  Milk, cream, oil, vanilla and coffee: tilt your iPhone. Salt: shake your iPhone to add the salt. Butter: slice the butter from top to bottom with your finger. Nuts: tap on your iPhone to crack the nuts. Bananas: press on the bananas to squish. Strawberries: press on the fruit to mash. Carrots: rub the carrots across the grater. Eggs: tap on the eggs to crack. Lemons, oranges, food coloring: pinch to add drops. When your done, mix them together. Now choose the shape of the cake and it’s ready to bake in the oven! Once it’s finished, you get to decorate it. You can pick the color, tips, text and toppers. Finally (my favorite part), you get to eat the cake!!!!!!!! To eat it, tap on the iPhone. That’s how you play Cake Doodle.
